SUO LANG TULKU RINPOCHE

Overview
Rinpoche currently manages two monasteries: Kang Ong Monastery (Nyingma tradition) located in Baiyu County, Sichuan Province, and Chuguolin Monastery (Kagyu tradition) in Lhasa, Tibet.

Social Positions
He serves as the Vice President of the Baiyu County Buddhist Association in Sichuan Province, dedicated to promoting ethnic unity and actively engaging in charitable activities.

Culture and Art
Rinpoche is skilled at integrating Buddhism with cultural and artistic expressions. He directed the documentary Sacred Truth, which captures the inspiring stories of the previous generation of Tibetan practitioners who safeguarded the Dharma with unwavering faith. Additionally, as an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Thangka painting, Rinpoche has been invited to cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenyang to host mandala sand painting and Thangka exhibitions. These exhibits highlight the profound meanings of Buddhism through the exquisite traditional Tibetan art forms.

Charitable Work
Rinpoche is deeply involved in philanthropy, participating in numerous public welfare initiatives. He has established assistance funds for monks and impoverished families in Tibetan regions. Years ago, after a severe earthquake hit the disaster area, Rinpoche personally went to the affected regions to lead post-disaster reconstruction and aid efforts.
