Lang Xuebo graduated from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts. His earlier works were deeply influenced by Japanese and Korean cartoon paintings, which were very well painted. He was recognized by some critics, but later he had a new understanding of painting, so great changes have taken place. Specifically, on the one hand, he wisely borrowed from the methodology of “Pop Art”, that is, he boldly borrowed and transformed popular images from the concept; on the other hand, he used the German artist Richter as a reference, that is, he used the medium of oil painting to transform the processing techniques of photography well.
