From 1992 to 1996, he studied in the affiliated high school of the central academy of fine arts.

In 1996, he was admitted to the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with second place in the country.

He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2000.

Since graduating in 2000, he has taught oil painting and landscape courses for graduate students of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.  He has participated in many major exhibitions at home and abroad, many works have been collected by many well-known art institutions at home and abroad, and many works have been presented as state gifts to foreign heads of state.  While insisting on artistic creation, teacher Lin Mao also organized many influential cultural and artistic activities for the country.

Since the end of 2000, many famous artists have been organized to visit Egypt, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Greece, France, Italy, the Philippines, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and more than 30 countries and regions such as Hong

Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Antarctica for cultural and artistic exchanges and seminars.
