Xu Xiaodong was born in 1966. In 1988, he was admitted to the First Studio of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and studied under Jin Shangyi, Pan Shixun and others. At school, he won the first prize for students’ works. He received a bachelor’s degree in 1992. Since 1995, he has taught in the affiliated high school of the central academy of fine arts.
The work ” Summons” was collected by the Central Academy of Fine Arts, ” Breeze” participated in the Centennial Exhibition of Chinese Oil Painting Portraits, and ” Space” participated in the National Landscape Oil Painting Exhibition. More than 20 works are collected by collectors in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, Japan and other countries.
