He was born in Liaoning in 1980 and graduated from the mural department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2006. He now lives and works in Beijing.  He has won the 2013 Hong Kong K11 Artist of the Year, and his works have been collected by institutions such as Broad Art Museum, Central Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, K11 and private collectors such as Zhang Songren.
